PACHA FESTIVAL - 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY: START PRESALE AND FIRST NAMES OF THE LINE-UP

Pacha Festival Amsterdam celebrates its 5 year anniversary on a brand new location. Due to the construction of a new hotel on its old Java Eiland location, the epic festival now takes place near Amsterdam’s Arena Park.

The festival is organised by exclusive Ibiza club chain Pacha. The all-familiar shiny red cherries shall bring over its Balearic magic to the Dutch capital for the fifth turn, surprising visitors once more with some of the most beautiful stage dressing that can be found in Holland’s festival landscape. Combine this with the action-packed line-up and stunning entertainment, and you have a perfect recipe for a day to remember.

Line-up: First names announced!
The first names the organisation has made public are, among others Martin Solveig (in alphabetical order) ANOTR, Benny Rodrigues, Claptone, Cassy, Darius Syrossian, Franky Rizardo, Hannah Wants, Karotte, Klingande, Mark Knight, Prunk, Sander Kleinenberg, Todd Terry and UMEK. The full line-up will be released soon.

Pacha can already reveal that at least two party concepts from the club will make their appearance during the festival. One is MY HOUSE, the brainchild of French superstar Martin Solveig, and INSANE. After a sold-out ADE edition of MY HOUSE, the acclaimed concept will return especially for Pacha Festival. The INSANE stage on the other hand (known for the Friday nights at Pacha) last year was a huge success and will make its well-deserved return this year, sporting a line-up focussed more on underground house, tech house and techno.

Due to the upscaled festival terrain this year, the popular Ibiza hippie market and food village (including a sushi pop up restaurant) will now be expanded. Good news then for the shopaholics and foodies among us. Another advantage is that the new location is more centrally located and therefor more easily accessible by both public transport and car.

Start of presale: Super Early Bird tickets now available for only €35,-
The presale of the Super Early Bird tickets will start on March 5th from 12:00 noon, and can be purchased from the official website http://www.pachafestival.com. DJ Information

Martin Solveig

The charismatic Frenchman, responsible for the phenomenal tracks 'Intoxicated' and +1, and long-time Pacha resident, Martin Solveig will host the main stage of Pacha Festival 2016 with his My House concept. My House is a celebration of - yes you guessed it - house music and more specifically the "Future House" sound. Exactly what this means you'll just have to find out in person, but if Solveig's electro-tastic nu-disco inspired house is anything to go by, it's going to be fresh as berries.

Social Media

ANOTR

From the early career stages in an Amsterdam attic studio to being called "a breath of fresh air", "producers to watch", and "future superstar DJs", the importance of commitment and patience is once again underlined by the prime example presented right before your eyes: ANOTR. Consisting of 21 year olds Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, ANOTR are the house-meets-techhouse revelations of their time. Their summer anthem 'Strobe' on Defected recordsbreakout label DFTD in early October 2015 was received with great enthusiasm.

Social Media

Benny Rodrigues

Benny Rodrigues is definitely one of the most popular Dutch dj's in the house and techno scene in Holland. This Rotterdam born and raised talent with Portuguese blood understands the art of using the funk, of getting the dancing floor full and the room to its feet. Although confessed because of its groovy/funky (deep) tech-house sound with lots of detroit, minimal and acid influences , he also loves to play a set full of jackin house!

Social Media

Claptone

In a now long forgotten world, many generations ago, a bird like shape emerged from wooded darkness, floating and fluttering, drifting and dreaming. Backlit by a bright glow of iridescent light, the undecipherable form wore a dazzling golden mask. Its long beak swooped down like an inverted horn and since then, people have referred to the mythical being simply as Claptone.

Social Media

Cassy

Circo Loco (and former Trouw Amsterdam) resident Cassy will be back at Pacha Festival 2016. For the third year in a row she will hit the decks at Pacha Festival whit her unique sound of house and techno. This year Cassy will release her debut artist album, produced with King Britt. As un-yet unnamed, her emotive, soulful voice features on almost every track of the album, which draws you in, telling a story of her journey in human relationships.

Social Media

Darius Syrossian

Darius' success in recent years is partly down to having been a resident for 3 different parties that although all started as brand new nights in ibiza were by the end of each season one of the best parties that summer on the white isle, VIVa Warriors, Tribal Sessions & Do Not Sleep all had Darius as resident in their first season and all three parties were a big hit on the island. Releases on labels such as Get Physical, VIVa Music, Hot Creations, 8 bit, Avotre & many more have also helped Darius gain the loyal following that he has, in 2014The annual clubbing awards in Ibiza voted Darius as Best House DJ of 2014.

Social Media

Franky Rizardo

"House is in a healthy place" according to Franky Rizardo. As a Dutchman with strong work ethic and not looking for mainstream success for the sake of it, he is one of the Dutch artist that put the deep-house sound back on the charts. With his releases on Defected, Spinnin', OFF Recordings and his weekly radio show 'Flow' on SLAM!FM in the Netherlands and on Sirius XM in the United States, Franky is ready to take the world with his refreshing deep house sound.

In 2014 alone Hannah picked up the Best Breakthrough DJ title at the DJ Mag awards and became Mixmag's Best Breakthrough DJ and Star Of The Year.
